Back in July I had written a post about Esperanza Medina. Just to refresh your memory she was getting into her car to go to work in the early morning hours and was attacked by a group who threw acid in her face permanently scaring her. Sadly I must report that the attack caused her to suffer third-degree burns on 25 percent of her body. She has had multiple skin grafts, and might lose sight in an eye. I will remember this tragedy for the rest of my life due to it’s horrific nature.

What I heard in the news yesterday has been haunting me all day. Apparently yesterday 48-year-old Esperanza Medina was attacked around six in the morning on the corner of Altgeld and Sacramento in Chicago. Two females and one male are suspects that were caught on camera; however the actual act was not seen on camera. As Medina was getting into her car for work two females came up from behind her and threw acid on her face. She is severely burned and cannot see or speak.
