No not really. As of two hour ago, Bernie Mac was still kicking. According to the latest news report. Bernie Mac is in a hospital, in Chicago with pneumonia.
Comedian Bernie Mac was in “very, very critical” condition late Saturday at a Chicago hospital, according to a Chicago Sun-Times source who knows the comedian’s family.
His publicist, Danica Smith, said in a statement that the 50-year-old comedian is responding well to treatment.She says Mac, a Chicago native who lives in the south suburbs, should be released soon.
Smith said the pneumonia isn’t related to an inflammatory lung disease that Mac also has. An autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in organs such as the lungs or lymph nodes. That condition, according to the AP, has been in remission since 2005.
Bernie Mac, a comedian, last became famous for his off-color jokes during a big fundraiser dinner in Chicago. This function was for Barack Obama’s Democratic fundraiser.
