My Gallons, Gas Price Help

Posted by: admin  :  Category: News

Gas, being a necessary part of most people’s lives, it’s something you can just stop buying, or reduce how much you’re buying just because the price went up. It’s a sad but true situation. Chevy, one of America’s favorite gas guzzlers, is in fact trying to help us out through this crisis. At http://www.gaspricewatch.com brought to us channel five and Chevy allows everyone to search through all the gas prices in the area. Simply select grade and enter a zip code to see all the surrounding gas stations and their current price. For all those with internet service on their phone, this site can be an even more valuable tool, because you could use the site wherever you are.

Another possible option is buying your gallons in advance.  Check out MyGallons.com, a website that can help you save money at the pump. Sign up for a $29.95 or $39.95 annual fee MyGallons Card, pre-purchase gas on your MyGallons Card and lock in a price before going to the pump. Then, just use the card when you get your gas. There are many major filling stations including Chevron, 76, Shell, Texaco, Exxon and more. To get the cheaper annual fee, you must agree that MyGallons will automatically replenish your account when you drop below 15 gallons. Note: It takes 1-6 weeks to get your card.

Gas prices are so high that $20 dollars gives my Chevy a quarter tank…when I was in high school not that long ago in 2003 $5 dollars had the same effect. From an economical perspective trying to save on gas in the long run creates inflation but when it’s between you and your wallet, who cares, just take advantage of it.

Chevy, mygallons.com, and gaspricewatch.com Did not pay me to write this. So if you like this post, feel free to buy me a coffee ;) [donation]
