Only here can we have our cake and eat it too
The latest episode of South Park was awesome! If you haven’t seen it you should check it out here: Southpark Episode
But the episode really makes a nice point. In America everyone is free to have their opinion. Every time our country has gone to war, now or in the past like Nam, we see both sides of war. We have one group of people who are completely against it and the other group that feels it’s unamerican not support their country in a time of war. In South Park they made both these points and then they had the founding fathers come in and explain it all. It turns out that the U.S. is the only country that can go to war and at the same time protest it. We can’t allow other countries to push us around so we go to war but we also do not want the rest of the world to hate us because we push other countries around. I personally fall more towards the war side, but it’s all our different opinions that make the U.S. what it is. Because as a nation we have conflicting opinions about everything, we do literally end up having our cake and eating it too, because in attempting to satisfy everyone what end up happening is we go to war but allow all the peace rally’s and protest in the world. So hate each other America, and always fight for your right to be heard because that’s what makes the U.S. the most ironically comically country in the world.
